Jazz pianist great Frank Signorelli performs his composition "A Sunday Morning Promenade" Davis DA-34-3. My apologies for the sound quality being so rough; I played these records an awful lot when I was growing up.
Apparently, Davis DA-34 was an album consisting of at least 4 records. I have only two of them; sides 3+4, and 7+8. I am looking for the two missing records of this album (sides 1+2 and 5+6... and any other sides, if they exist).
It's such a shame it's so difficult finding Frank's solo works. He was really fantastic.
Thank you SO MUCH for posting these records! Other than an LP of "ragtime piano" (duetting with drummer George Wettling) that came out in the 1950s (I think), I am not aware of any other solo recordings by Frank Signorelli besides your set (incomplete though it may be), and in fact I had no idea that it existed until you posted these! I can't believe I didn't find these before, you have no idea how long I've been looking in vain for other solo recordings of this man!
Thanks!!!
