Lindsay Coulter of the David Suzuki Foundation shows you how to make your own beauty supplies to keep you and the planet lovelier. Distributed by Tubemogul.
Even better than home-made shampoo: NO shampoo! It's not for everyone -you need to endure an adjustment phase while your scalp adjusts but it's a lot easier (and less odorous) than you'd think. It's been 2 years since I've used shampoo and haven't looked back. My hair has never been healthier.
Regardless, I'm all for making my own everything. You go, Green Girl! :D
Awesome series, Lindsay!

You can add a few drops of vitamin E oil (you can always open capsules if you can't find a bottle of it) it's a natural preservative.
other preservatives: Grapefruit seed extract (anti-bacterial & preservative qualities)
Rosemary Antioxidant Extract (essential for stabilizing the shelf life of your body care products)
