Would not have gave 10 bucks, but the frog is way cool! The pistol due to thin barrel is I think some kind of blunderbuss, shotgun or scatter gun. The barrel is not thick enough to support firing a single projectile.

@stetsonwalker Thanks - it does look unsafe to shoot. When I first saw it I thought it was just a wall hanger but it does show signs of being shot. You could not pay me enough to shoot it though :-). Will

The pistol looks foreign, the hallmark on the barrel looks like foreign proofing mark. 19th century.

@terminal99 lol i know what the gun is. its a swedish one its called (muskötdunder m/59 sjömansmusköt) its made in the early 1800s. its a very normal one. its worth about 100 dollars.

the gun looks to be a flint lock and the handle dont look right and at best been replaced as for barral my have been drilled out ,,the condition is yggggg but still a great display item,,conversation piece,,,i have owned many real ones,,that would be a 50 caliber size,,,,,
