@sherulzz the thing is that they put it on a post it note so they feel its a real marriage because neither of them felt that a real marriage was necessary. and eventually they do get it finalized cuz of needing to adopt zola

@sherulzz They didn't have time to get married, and they decided that if a piece of paper made them married, they'd just use the Post-It as that piece of paper. It wasn't being legally married that was important, but committing to one another. But they did legally get married in the Season 7 Episode 20, so that they'd be more attractive to the adoption agency. I totally understand how some might see a wedding as unnecessary, and I thought the Post-It wedding was romantic.
