The halogen version of the Vertigo evolved from the old Verti-Pro and Verti-Pro II. The halogen Vertigo also evolved into the Scotty II, the Epsilon, and about 15 years later, the Tri-LED Vertigo. I have yet to see a video of a Scotty II.
On the larger side, the halogen Aggressor evolved from the Progressor and Progressor II. Then, of course, about 10-15 years later, the Tri-LED Aggressor evolved from the halogen version.

Does the heligen version stay on if theres no sound? i mean i have the tri led and mine shuts off if theres no sound and i just got it today

@DarkMan352 Yeah you can turn the sensitivity knob on the halogen version to have it just stay on with all the beams on without rotation.

Hi,
thanks a lot for this comparison of the normal light bulp to the LED version.
Now I have no doubt left to go for the new LED technique. Really amazing how much power these LED's have!
Next party is comming with big LED-Light effects :-)
