I love this! And had no idea there was a ukelele society. I still have my dad's first ukelele with its old battered case -- he got it when he was about 4 years old, circa 1927. When we went to the NY World's Fair in 1965, they had ukeleles in the Hawaiian pavilion. Daddy played every one of them to find the one that "fretted true" -- and paid the whopping sum (then) of $30 for it.. It's made of light-colored wood, and the body doesn't curve.
