We cover some introductory information about the exam. If you are just starting your journey towards TOEFL, or if you are interested in the exam, but don't know where to start, watch this lesson. • Happy New Year to all of you. Thanks for watching and passing on your feedback. May you have a radiant year in 2010.

  • I understand. English tenses can be confusing. You need a really good grammar book, a good teacher, and lots of practice using the different tenses. Focus on one tense and understand completely how to use it and when to use it before moving on to the next tense. Keep reviewing the tenses you know as you learn new ones. My best wishes to you.

  • i'm going to take this TOEFL end of this year and i need to score over than 600 as a requirement of being lecturer in my country's university.

is that enough if i just study refer to the TOEFL books like Kaplan without attending some extra english classes?

And, what is the total marks of this exam?Is that possible for me to score 600 above?

please give me some advise in videos or something.i need some motivation.

  • The TOEFL is a serious exam of academic English. It's always best if you can attend some special exam prep classes.

At the most, you could study with a guidebook alone for the reading and listening sections of the exam. However, you really need the benefit of a teacher's guidance and feedback on the speaking and writing section.

The highest score you can get on the TOEFL iBT is 130. The 600 score you are referring to is for an older version of the exam.

    I wish you success!
