  • This video is very touching and moving Buddhagem..............in alot of ways.....................

And as for you below who thinks he is just celebrating, its about solidarity and being an activist, women have worked too overcome so much and the struggle is not over International Womens Day is about awareness and struggle its not over. And Women should be able to celebrate what we have had to overcome. Celebrating is showing solidarity as well as fighting, which Buddhagem did.

  • Peanut finally comments on one of my videos. It's about time you little weasel!

  • Great vid. When I was 17 I went to a rally in Washington D.C. sponsored by N.O.W. The women I travelled with gave me a tampon in order to affirm my status as an honorary woman for the day. I slipped it into the inside pocket of my spike studded biker jacket, carried my "free abortion on demand" sign and vastly enjoyed the day. (Sometimes I miss that jacket.) Thanx F.W.

  • Great story!

  • A lot of people forget that Women's Rights still needs to be alive and kicking today. Abortion is as much a woman's issue as the right to vote was, in my opinion.

  • Couldn't agree more!

  • A lady talking about Hamas the terrorist group fighting for women? they rape them... you should be talking about what the SHITES do in Iran RAPING, TORTURING, and MURDERING Women and Men,,,,,

  • Well I don't live in Albania or anywhere else. I live here in the United States and like it or not women have made a lot of progress in the last 200 years in all aspects of life. Is it enough? Hell no. The fight continues. But the celebration of IWD is just that a celebration of the gains made and a re dedication to the work that must go on.

If you don't know what we're celebrating, I'd guess you don't know much about the history of the struggle. There's plenty to celebrate. Keep on fighting

  • testing

  • Thanks for recognizing the day...and for being such a hardcore activist!

  • Yeah I edited down the other talks but I just had to leave the story of the New Jersey Four in tact. It is an important story that few people really know about.

  • awesome, and i'm glad that the new jersey four was mentioned.
