  • Yeah it took me a while to learn it for this song in our band... We got it though and it ROCKED!!! But yeah if you can't roll your R's and you can flutter tounge than you are amazing!!! :)

  • Do you guys have an Eb clarinet playing in this piece...and nice playing..we are playing this and it's haRd! This piece is so fun though..despite my impossible parts...

  • yahh tubaaa my schools playing this atm

  • they spent the vast majority of their time working on enigma variations and commando march!!!

  • The Bass Part Is Sick in this Song But The Guy PlAying Isnt Bringing It out Much : (

  • lol. i <3 the solos in this song, especially by Eric Whitacre. they're awesome. and to me this song was a sinch.

  • Well I'm Mexican so I can roll my R's like crazy, but not flutter-tongue. Oh well. My friend could do it so I guess it was okay and the judges didn't take points off for not enough of it.

  • futter tongue is something that's in your genes... the ability to move your tongue really really fast. I don't know that you can learn to do it well enough to play four measures of it in and through the horn at that. I can't do it myself and I'm a flute player. I have to do it from the throat.

If you can though, awesome- best of luck!

  • yeah but when theres a conductor(whos ready to kill me) who forced me to played the trombone instead of the flute and oboe when ur better at them, its pretty scary

  • the trombone part isn't scary...if you're good.

it's pretty easy...just need to count.
