The boy and girl meet as young children and are the best of friends. They grow up together and finally start dating when they are teenagers and fall in love. They're eventually married. They have two children, a boy and then a girl. They watch their children grow. Eventually, the couple gets older, but they still love each other as much as ever.

@partyboyrocks69 i dont mean to be harsh kid :/ but you are still very young...dont expect for the best cuz IF it doesnt happen then it wont hurt as bad. PLEASE dont think im being a nasty person..but from experience i know that waiting for something that MIGHT NOT happen just hurts in the end...i believed in the best when i was a sophomore..i thought wed get married, it ended bad...PLEASE just live life and dont think about it too much...if it happens great! :) bhut best of luck :)

I have seen many a person dedicate this song to many a person.
This song makes me cry, and touches me.
But, I've realized that this song is so powerful, that I refuse to dedicate a song like this to someone until I meet that someone whom I will love all the way until the end, because I feel that any other way I would be disgracing the song, as well as undermining the power of love, and making it meaningless.

My husband and I were high school sweethearts. This is one of his songs to me (bullet for my valentine, hearts burst into fire is the other) he's deployed right now and I listen to this song everyday. I love the video. :]
