See more @ http://www.ablogtoread.com. New for 2011 Planet Ocean models in a 45.5mm size case with the in-house made Omega caliber 8500 movement. Probably the best Seamaster Planet Ocean watch ever by Omega.

  • Hello Ariel, I want to purchase the Titanium Liquidmetal cause I love the blue dial but I'm afraid of one thing. Is it TOO light? as in cheap feel light? or it has a decent heft to it? Thank you very much. love your reviews!

  • @xilpa Good question. I would say that it is not too light. It feels hefty enough, but is certainly lighter than the steel. The metal all fits together nicely and I don't think you'll be disappointed with how it feels. Note that while the finish is very similar, titanium is a bit darker than steel in color.

  • @aBlogtoRead I tried the Titanium but it felt too light so I got the Stainless Steel. Its also more scratch proof.

  • @BenMoby If you like a hefty watch then go with steel. This is anything but a light watch on a bracelet - but people like me don't mind that. It is true that steel is going to be more scratch resistant than titanium in most instances.

  • How big is your wrist?

  • @Nicool333 small to medium sized.

  • its HE not h2 on the valve

  • Excellent and great looking watch no doubt....but $7K-$10K seems way too expensive to my opinion, almost outrageous.

example? $2.8K will buy you the excellent TAG Heuer 500M Aquaracer Auto.

  • @xilpa I tried the titanium on at an Omega store. It does feel odd. I bought steel. Yes it's heavy but you really do get used to the weight and I feel half dressed without it now.

  • @xilpa Mine is stainless steel and I don't think it's too heavy.

  • @BenMoby How do you feel the weight on the titanium LM?

  • @xilpa Already have it :)

  • @aBlogtoRead Thanks for your response Ariel! Definitely a little closer to get the blue one :)
