Response to CNN's documentary "Generation Islam"

Post speaks about the importance of being able to see diverse perspectives of Islam. We live in a society where fact-based journalism no longer exists. So much of what we learn is filtered so we only see an extreme side of Islam. this documentary showed that there is a moderate, human side to Islam. It also showed the hate, which is real, but we already know that all too well. Lastly, the documentary showed that at the end of the day, we all just want what's best for our children. Unfortunately, many resort to extreme measures to do that due to a lack of options. We can change this through real engagement and understanding.
