The Viennese Waltz, US-version.
The US & European Viennese Waltz differ in the amount of time spent in hold which basically seems about 40% in the US, instead of pretty much the whole dance over on my side of the pond (this is about the same difference in the Foxtrot). Because I am such a huge fan of Derek, Mark & Julianne all my dancing vids focus on them but while they dance this beautifully it isn't a true Viennese Waltz in my opinion, I would love to see them dance a European one...
True magic is watching Anton Du Beke & Erin Boag dance the Viennese Waltz, I have been fortunate to see this live at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom and it was magical, no-one comes close to them. Sadly I can't find a decent clip/video to share but if I ever do I will. ^^
I seem to pick a lot of the same songs as Julianne, this track has been earmarked and requested for the Viennese Waltz since November last year so it's been a long time coming, I hope you enjoy it.
