  • How can he be independent if he needs to use crutches?

  • @engessar Patient does not need any third person help in Sitting, Standing, Walking, Walking up and down the stairs. Is this not independence?

  • @manijatin He still need crutches help in sitting standing, walking, walking up and down the stairs. But its ok. Maybe your definition of independence is different from the mine.

  • @engessar If there is a permanent lose and patient do routine tasks with the help of orthosis, rehabilitation aid or with any device without the help of third person, this is called "Patient is independent".
