Part of the Adobe Digital School Collection, Premiere Elements is an easy to use video editing program with some very powerful, easy to use features. • adobe premiere pro and adobe premiere element are diffrent sodware ??

  • @parth311094 Oh yes! Elements is for the casual user.... the home user. Pro is serious stuff. Like Avatar serious. A lot of the nice features from Pro are in Elements, making a slick, easy program that blows away everyone else in that category. Pro is way above that.

  • Can't you just film the whole show (including renders, and imports, etc.) and just edit outnthe waiting times in between on the final copy? Or is the show live?

  • @SamuraiOneCut We actually tape live. We finish them Thursday, process them for different uploads over the weekend, air locally and do the uploads when time permits.

  • I have this idea, check it out. You could find a good video editing software... You with me. And then you could edit out the render time, and all the wastedntime I. Between actually seeing what "what you're showing us" does. lol. I mean dudes, I gotta wait for my own stuff to render, not trying to watch yours too. Just saying

  • @SamuraiOneCut Good idea! Shoulda turned off rendering for that one. Lessons learned. PRE 9 is definitely better and easier to skip the rending if you don't need it.

  • @EloHimisGod Oh yeah. Adobe enhances more and more every year. I'm fortunate to see products months before they are released. It just keeps getting better. On the Adobe site you can find a list of the new features. Just look up PRE 8 and explore the pages.

  • Is premiere elements 8 any good?

  • I can never get the DVD burning feature to work correctly... when I finally get a successful burn, no DVD player that I own plays them... so DVD burning functionality for me isn't too good... I definitely suggest Windows DVD Maker included with Vista, and 7 I believe.
