My favorite Van Morrison song probably mainly because the night I met my brown eyed girl, my future wife Michele in the summer of 1967 at a high school dance in Monroe Louisiana, that was the main song the band played that evening. She was 17 and I was 20 and we danced every dance together that night. I had a week left of my Navy leave and spent every day with her and it made me so sad to have to go back to the Navy in San Diego California for 2 more years. But I got a months leave every year and spent that time with Michele. And 2 years after I got out of the Navy in 1969 we were maried in 1971 and she's been my brown eyed girl ever since. Anyway, hope you like it and if you do please rate it and leave a comment, it's always nice to get some feedback. Thanks for watchin' and listenin'.
Hi Tonny, Thanks for your kind comments and for subscribing to my videos. You know, I just now remembered you asked about the Mexican Restaurant when I play on Saturday evenings. I'll try to get the name of the owners for you when I go back. I also have played at 3 nursing homes over the years and this past Sunday was the most recent. The older people there really enjoy old Gospel songs and old time country. Do you play anywhere in public? Like a restaurant or bar or nursing home? Take care.
