This is not a sign that more are joining, the Republican party is threaten by Obama so they are allowing the black republican to actually come to the fore front and they are using the black republicans to go against Obama
It is true that neither Democrat or Republican parties properly represent Black peoples. This is similar to arguments within Feminism, before the implementation of the field now known as Critical Black Feminism. First, there must be real change...not simply just allegiance to a party that has a known affiliation with racism. The Tea Party as well is included within this same paradigm.
Cont. Another thing to considered is the collective awareness that black Republican and Democrat should be working together not against each other in Congress. Will that happen come January 5th absolutely not.
Cont. We have Black Republicans which are viewed as elitist or nut jobs already before any such progression has been made in the Republican Party. This new individuals are not like Colin Powel or Condolessa Rice sturdy and strong but more like contraversial and slightly pompus. Blacks would do well in not thinking so broadly on solving issues through political party affliation which governs the law but make a difference in persuading and pushing the law to work for them in being Independent.
Cont. There are a number of other contraversial figures but one more bares in mind of silly witt with the likes of Allen West making statements on a call for censorship of the media and arresting of citizens not residents of the United States. It shows he particularly is not aware of jurisdiction laws and espionage when it comes down to foreign affairs. He like other Black Republicans tend to speak before using rational judgement so they can't help anyone let alone blacks.
The three guest are nothing but people trying to making a difference. At least it seems some Black Republicans have not made it seem their is some elitist plateau when it comes down to being Republican. Its so easy to get turned off to Republicans when people like Angela McGlowan of Mississippi aggressively admits that her purpose for being apart of the Tea Party really boiled down to money. She seemed to be all about self interest not the peoples interest.
Just giving lots of money to poor people does not help as much as you might think. Most important thing is to help people to help themself.

Why should Blacks be Republicans or Democrats?
Be Independent/Unaffiliated if neither party's views are sufficient!
