Barnes Wallis, who designed the bouncing bomb that is the centrepiece of the Dambusters story (and the swivel-wing or 'variable geometry' planes that are now in wide use) gave all the money from his inventions to Christ's Hospital, which never turns down pupils on the grounds that they are unable to pay. It was mainly due to Barnes Wallis that the school was able to maintain its charitable aims and it has done so all the way from Tudor times to the present day. He was educated there himself.
I'm playing this in 7th and 8th grade band and i thought we sounded pretty good... Now I know how we r supposed to sound! Lol

Fitting tribute. A march to the Dambusters in front of a Lancaster. Enjoyed it =D

nicely done but i still think that this march should be played in the military way, with just brass and drums, like a regimental band on parade.
