@masterbasser24, In that logic, let's just hand the Lombardi trophy over to the team that has the best regular season record or the NBA Finals trophy to the team with the best record. Don't forget the MLB too. The Chase is a playoff and like every other sport, the guy/team that performs the best in the playoffs deserves to win.

It's not right where 70% of the entire 10 month long season doesn't even count towards anything just to hand the trophy to jimmie after 10 weeks at the end. The chase shouldn't exist to begin with. Jimmie is truly a 2 time champ.
