Martin G3ZAY and Juan HK3CQ were the first two radio amateurs to make a Morse Code radio contact using paddles made from Lego at both stations, at 17:00 UTC on 12th December 2010 on 14MHz.
The keys were designed by Hugo M0HSW (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bu_7aNoqvgw for more details)

  • Hiya Dominic i have got into ham radio and got my test in end of Jan is the first test hard to do ?

    the radio i have got is a icom 92d with mike but got a lot of radios at the museum ww2 stuff

  • @cliffe008 Hi. No, you really should not have a problem with the Foundation licence. It's mainly intended to just make sure you know roughly what you're doing, so you can get more experience on-air.

    I don't know the IC-92d, I'm afraid, but it looks like a nice handheld from a quick Google search. Good luck with the exam & thanks for subscribing. 73.
