I sure like Bernadette. She turns out to be a fighter as well as a hero. I just wish the director should have made her character extremely violent towards that evil fucking nun leader. Specifically, I think the director should have had Bernadette beat that nun to death. Thumbs up if you agree with me.

Bernadette is my favorite character of the whole movie! She's one of the few who resists the brainwashing! And I was so pissed when she didn't kill that bitch of a nun! But I was cheering for her the whole time!

@elisa9994 That's even more a testament to the evil of these laundries that they only closed, one by one I'm sure, just because more and more people in Ireland had washing machines in their homes or lived near laundrettes/laundromats.

Bernadette was tough because she was a kid from an orphanage and they were always supposed to be the tough kids because they're used to fighting each other for whatever scraps they get.

03:15 when i saw the picture of Kennedy i thought that the nun had a very very serious secret regarding Kennedy that was ready to be lost and she was searching for the key to secure it...And then all made sense...Kennedy with the limo...And from a consealed side ITs sister Bridget "O' hara" with a semi automatic rifle with a 8x scope closing her eye "Ashes to ashes, dust to dust mr president.." I guess she trully like western films after all...
