There is so much evidence showing that the 3 revealed religions have origins from other cultures, especially Egypt. Christianity in particular adopted many of the Egyptian ideas for their religion and rituals. Read Christ In Egypt by D.M. Murdock.

@amaribling My friend, there are many different variations of Egyptian god worship, but I prefer to worship the gods on my own. If you prefer, look up "Kemetism" on the web and you are sure to find plenty of groups.

My house contains 35 separate shrines to different gods, the biggest being those that praise Ra, Horus and Osiris.

However, you need not go to such an extent, a simple shrine to Ra and Osiris would probably suffice, just see how it changes your fortunes!

I used to be a Christian, but I realised how it was a religion based on retaining power, thus I changed my religion to Egyptian near-monotheism and worship Amen-Ra and Osiris.

Ever since I started this my fortunes have changed dramatically, and this has confirmed my faith in the Egyptian deities.

Single DOESN'T mean 'one eye' in this scripture. The work 'single' is juxtaposed with 'wicked'. It is now commonly translated as 'healthy.' However, I think a better refers to the person's position WITH God rather than against Him. Also, homophones does not cognates make. :)

Of course when you pray to and revere the Sun/Son of God you are revering the Third Eye of Spiritual Insight, the call to spiritual discipline within your own self.
