  • Love the Scottish flavor! :) Was the scene from :21-:25 from the sequel? I haven't seen those yet (just the Complete Series DVDs); but almost everyone agrees they didn't like them near as much as the originals with KM & SFM.

  • I used a few scenes from the telemovies (mainly the audio). I definitely like the chemistry between KM and SFM better - although LLS did a good job showing some of Christy's strengths and weaknesses. I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for letting me know :)

  • Thanks - I experimented with using the audio from the wedding and then faded into a traditional Scottish love song.

  • This is an excellent book. It just happens to be about a woman who is a Christian. She goes to work as a teacher in a missionary in the Great Smokey Mtns. and it tells of her struggles, those of the children she helps, and her purpose in life. Neil, the Dr. is not a Christian so it tells of their relationship. Great love story, wonderfully inspirational especially for women and their potential to make a difference in the world.

  • @kara719 the children found it and christy took care of her for a while

  • I have only read the book. . . . sooo what's with the baby?

  • You really should read it. It's a wonderful book. Like macgillacuddy said it's about a young girl who just happens to be Christian. It doesn't read like a formulaic Christian novel, but more like an amazing coming of age story. Her growth and strength are beautiful to watch.

  • @22Cat22 - its a christian novel but the main story line IS NOT about God.

Its a very good sotry - try it out!

  • Is this a good book? One of my old english teachers wanted me to read it because MY name is Catherine Marshall, but I never did. Now I'm starting to wonder if I should or not.

Also, I heard it was a Christian novel and I'm not too into those.

  • Off ALL the Clips ...I like this one the absolute best!!

I really like the way you tied the NEW with the OLD...it bridged the gap that jarred at me.

By making it one continous memory i'm more able to accept both Actresses...and

appreciate the beatuy of Neil and Christy's love ..:)

  • Beautiful to watch on Robbie Burns Day.
