There is an Australian version of this film (the original, I think) that is much, much better. It conveys the exact same message without the BMW, the gorgeous house and the beautiful 'actors'. I find it so ironic that, even as this video tries to discourage teen affluenza, it becomes a billboard for the American Dream.
There's something about American television... every time it tries to make something hard-hitting and realistic, it has the opposite effect.

Believe me, Young Adult Affluenza is just as bad. Popping out babies and living off welfare seems to be the IN thing these days.
