When you clear coat on your mid 90's chevrolet is bad enough that you can write in it, you're overdue for paint.

Since the clearcoat is pretty thick, it would take a lot of sanding to remove all of it. Try compressed air. :p

  • how did you write on it? lol

  • @500paintjob awesome hmm? I pushed a bubble around being carefull. All for you guys ;)

  • Pressure washing it does not work, I just tried it and some comes off but it's a very very slow process to remove just a little bit.

  • @Tapout2009MarlonR Thanks for trying and reporting on it. I've wondered about it. Nothing beats sandblasting or aircraft stripper ;)

  • I will show you how to take the virginity from you sister!

  • @eyewarnedyou could work, never tried it though so I don't know.

  • @eyewarnedyou I think the water may slip under the clear and prevent air from lifting it off. If you try, let us know :)

  • @eyewarnedyou You sand the rest with a block. You have to sand anyways since you want to give a good bite for the next paint.

  • @vacman1945 ~85psi. (90pis minus hose lenght) I got at LEAST 90 % of it off that way

  • What PSI are you using?
