Dutch Robot Wars: Series 1, Heat A, Part 4

With Robot Wars gaining international acclaim, the decision was made to branch out and produce a series of Robot Wars specifically for the Dutch-speaking audience. A total of 30 robots were flown in to compete here, this was filmed at the same time as UK Series 5.

The heats worked the same way as the semifinals of UK Series 5 and 6, each robot that lost in the first round would fight in the losers' melee, with the winner reinstated.

Rob Kampuhes hosted, with Bridget Maasland serving as pit reporter, and Eric Croton providing commentary.

Lethal Swan, Arena Killer, Philipper, Lizzard, Bamm Bamm, Rat

On a side note, I'd really appreciate it if someone could back up these videos to their computer, I would like to delete them from my hard drive once they are uploaded. Thanks.

Rare in this battle:

Shunt flips a robot, which happened rarely in the UK series.

Even rarer: Matilda's Tusks flipped a robot, which I think didn't happen again since series 2 in the UK wars! :-o
