This short claymation film was shot as part of an ethics project for MEAM 347, a junior-level mechanical engineering course taught at the University of Pennsylvania. Specifically, we set out to demonstrate what took place behind closed doors between Firestone and Ford in the early 2000's.
It took over 19 hours to gather the necessary materials, assemble the sets, sculpt the characters, photograph every minute motion, record the voice-overs, and edit it all together. All told, over 800 photographs were taken to produce two minutes of footage!
What a joke. Firestone and Henry Ford were the closest friends you could ever have.
