solid air cover john martyn

my version of solid air. not sure of tuning but i play in drop d with 2nd string tuned up a step (i think..) use barre chords on 5th and 7th fret. pls leave comments if ur a jm fan. soz for the poor quality, pls turn volume up.solid air cover john martyn

NIce one ..some .nice subtle sounds from this done in dropped D tuning. Right hand style is excellent bt way-pure martynesque.

thx ian, i gotta let me nails grow tho b4 i can really get the right hand clawhammer technique down. i like the way jm snaps the bass strings with the long nail of the thumb. i read he had it coated with some substance to make it stronger

lol yea i'm an idiot, even more so since i tell people the same thing all the time...check the info..sorry bro...anyway...i researched a little, i guess its originally played in open c. playing Martyn songs has been a great challenge
