Keep on moving, Keep on running
Beaten down, you get up humming
Laughing, languid lazy layman
Derelict, a dope fiend, dazed friend
Coyote laughing, what you doin?
Stolen something what you chewin?
Fire, wisdom on your breath
Laughin', not one bit bereft
That thing be the master plan
Somehow landed in your hands
Something sacred, not no more
In the hands of the dirt poor
Question all, just where we at?
What's the truth, the way, the facts?
Facts a slippery slithery slope
Grasping at them, hard to grope
Death and Drugs and Nudity and Shit
No proper way to live there is
Laugh from wells down deep in the soul
Overcome within, still staying whole
The still stagnant mire perpetuates pain
Continually dying the world's always changed
With each small destruction
a chanced reconstruction
With a reliance on maps
we're missing the facts
Stuck on the windshields like flies
A flatworld delusion, no lies
There's a way to strike true
to the heart of big blue
And just as the yin yang
starts to big bang
And just as God starts to nod off
we take off
and shake off
take the brakes off
Everything
And just as our reality
becomes the totality
It happens
All the boundaries dissipate
As we mingle and separate
And the facts they all congregate
This we must Aprobate
It happens so fast
Here at long last
Coyote, my friend
this is not the end
They say the worlds burning
but it keeps on turning
They say it's a lost cause
But this is no truth at all
And only one thing is sure
This animal must roar
So down that road we go
Until we reach the bow
We arrive at the crossroads
In our bright yellow bus
We think that we know
but the joke is on us.

aho- i'm glad i didn't miss this one been having a hell of a time trapped once again in the convoluted loops of some kind of private mental funk... so depressed over, well, the cumulative "it all"... your poem seems to encompass it all and somehow lift off and loft above it all as well. it's really moving and beautiful and i thought the visuals were great, too

Two stories I remember from yesterday's media. A 12 year old, part of a gang hunted down a 22 year old lad because they thought he was in another gang--he wasn't--stabbed him in head, and killed him!!
