Did someone leave the tap on whilst I was out? Well, whoever's responsible, there seems to be an awful lot of water around this place! Guess I'm on cleanup duty then.

Just like its sister level 'Into the Flood', The Flood is one of those short 'blink-and-you'll-miss-it' type of levels where the design is really compact (not that that's a bad thing) and the abundance of enemies is, well, not quite so abundant. The traditional line-up of Swatmen, Torchers and Frogmen do their best to belay my progress to the exit. But since when have I ever given in to demands from the enemy? If your answer is never, then get out of my head! You're not welcome!

Another attribute that carries over from the previous level is the disappointing lack of Secrets. I know I shouldn't expect them to be in EVERY single level of EVERY single classic FPS game I play but surely it wouldn't have hurt to have put one in here. It doesn't give me that sense of freedom to explore every nook and cranny if I know there are no Secrets to be found. Again, like in the previous level, there are areas I come across that could have easily been flagged as a Secret area but either the level designer saw no point in doing so or they were feeling lazy.

To be fair though, this is better than any level I could come up with. The lazy cretin that I am.
