my husband drives me crazy to watch these videos...he misses those days and everytime he hears the beat he starts uprockin those feet...he really got opened when they bigged him up in one of the interviews...and when they mentioned phazzic rockers(hope its spelled right) forget it i aint hear the last of the history...thanks for bringin back those good memories for him...

So we not talking about Forest ave and Madison st,,,, we talking about the wholle thing Ridgewood and Glendale. So thechnically PS.93 been part of Brooklyn till 1979 .

Lesson # 2 After the riots and looting devastated neighboring Bushwick during the great black out of 1977 area residents activelly sought to dissassociate themselfs from Brooklyn. In 1979 Ridgewood and Glendale finally recived a Quenns zip code 11385 .

History lesson # 1 Brooklyn-Quens (Rigewood) border ,For the longest time Ridgewood and Glendale were served by by the Bushwick post office and there fore were assigned a Brooklyn zip code. Envelopes were adressed as '' Ridgewood BKLYN NY 27 '' . Business in the area at the turn of the century prefered it that whay ,because at the time the name of Brooklyn caried more prestige than that of any part of Queens.
