@FredrikEastling DEVGRU operate on land. What I meant was "armed forces" or what ever the entire US war machine is called.

@petacavanagh US Army recruits civillians to SF selection I belive the concept with recruiting civ's is pretty new since they still have the E4 minimum to go to selection.

@FredrikEastling But civillian recruitment is rare (at least in most special forces) as they only take the "fittest of the fittest" who already have the soldier training) Which outfit recruits civilians, may I ask? I would love to read up on them lol

@killerclown789 DEVGRU aint a part of the army just so you know... And they're not "basically" tier one. DEVGRU and the d-boys are the only tier one units the US military's got. Just shoving knowledge straight up your arse now, eh? ;)
