A work in progress, you never notice how weak 4 and 5 are until you try to play this etude. TO BE REPOSTED NEXT WEEK.

  • you good, may i ask you how old are you, because i want to study piano, maybe too late for me? lol

  • I'm 23. It's never too late to start. One of my students is 40 and she's making great progress.

  • Fantastic, better than many rapid version

  • piapiapiapiano, cute name. you stutter? lol i ask because i used to (still do at times), and your name sounds like you're stuttering.

yes, this is a very cool video. i love seeing black people playing piano. we need more of us. i might try to make a video playing chopin's revolutionary etude, if i get the guts like her. but she plays better than i do. ha.

  • this is not bad. if you want to know how weak the 4th and 5th fingers are, trying playing chopin's rev. etude 10, 12. omg! my left hand's 4th & 5th froze; no more muscles in them. lol

nice video. i saw this on PianoPlaya123's channel. he's one of the best.

  • Is this Schwechten Berlin piano? I have the same !

  • this one definitely requires patience, and wrist strength.. I'm learning it now. Might post it once I'm done.

  • this etude is ssooo haard :'(

  • Almost every pianist cheats in this Etude, omitting the middle notes in the right hand's chords. Even Valentina Lisitsa.

  • Have you seen Valentina Lisitsa play this one? When I first saw her performance of this (I own the DVD of her playing all the Etudes) I just stared incredulous.

That 4th and 5th finger movement is insane. I'm just now reading a book about Chopin and his teaching.
