'The Baccalieu Girl"

This is a song entitled-The Baccalieu Girl-that i wrote and dedicated to my Aunt Molly Walsh From Bay de Verde who worked on Baccalieu Island back in 1939-40. She has many fond memories of the island and the Ryan family who lived there for many years.

No, unfortunately I didn't have any pictures of the interior of the house on Baccalieu.

A few years back Baccalieu Island was designated an Ecological Reserve. To the best of my knowledge you would need a permit to visit or to land on the Island.

Are people allowed to go onto the island these days? I've made it out there on a friends boat a few times, but never stepped foot on the Island yet, but would love to.
