Ping Zhang, Center, on Viola, teaches Violin and Piano in Mississauga and Toronto (Canada).
Ping Zhang graduated with her Bachelor of Music Degree from Yunnan Conservatory of Music, with a major in Analysis of the Spheres and Rudiment. She began learning the violin during her childhood, piano during university, and viola while in the Kunming Symphony Orchestra. She has vast experiences from being a violinist and violist with many string quartets, chamber ensembles, and orchestras, including the European Spring Chamber Ensemble, Switzerland Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Canada Company Chorus. She also joined many important performances in the 1991 Asian Grant Prix, and 1999 Kunming International Art Festival. After immigrating to Canada, She had appeared in various concerts as a chamber musician in Toronto. Since then, she has been active in both performing and teaching.
Her ambition is to perform, with the RCM / Ontario Conservatory of Music.
