Battleship Potemkin

Inspired by true events, this film tells the story of the riot that occurred on the battleship Potemkin when the crew was given rotten meat for dinner. Their protest soon turns into a riot when the sailors raises the red flag in an attempt to set off a revolution in the port of Odessa.

Taken into context i.e. politics / history / time, this film is superb and full of shots that have been emulated and re-created ever since. This landmark film set so many standards and to directly compare it to modern cinema is ridiculous and pointless. If you don't at least appreciate it then really your dismissing so much or simply a product of a generation built on shallow mediocrity.

This is an excellent film. It's ironic that now in the 21st century, Russia has become one of the most powerful christian nations on earth. Ironic because in 1925, the Rothchilde banktators were financing the entire revolution. Whether good or bad, it's clear that this group of banktators have been the greatest enemy to christianity in history. The film is filled with anti-christian symbolism. Goebbels is said to have considered this the best propaganda film of all time.

Probably Eisenstein's Masterpiece...Great movie, a bunch of COMPLETE garbage blended together to create a feeling of panic and mindless obedience to the state. May all the numbskulls who found this 'moving' and 'compelling' rot for all eternity, while watching they're genitals being slowly devoured by Sea Monkeys...
