  • So glad you plan on going back on the lyme treatment.

No one knows until they have it, but lyme can really damage so much. I think after awhile on meds, you will see just how many symptoms the lyme is responsible for. The media doesnt even come close to telling how bad lyme is. I am glad you are making these videos and hope you will continue. I know its hard.. but you keep hanging in there. In the end, its worth it.

  • i was only on treatment one week (3 doses of abx) before this happened. it has lengthened my treatment from 16 to 24 weeks, but i plan on more setbacks. we hope to go back on treatment and do 2 days a week instead of 3. i believe it's worth it, so i just have to push through. i will get back to your message, don't think i've forgotten, just going to take some time. feel free to bug me until i do. thanks for taking the time to send it, i know that takes a lot of work. :)

  • Just hugs for now not much on the words but i am thinking about you two.

  • thanks, we always appreciate it.

  • Wow dude, that seems like it would be so overwhelming and hard to deal with. I get upset when I can't remember something that I need to do or someone's name, but this is a whole different level. This video was really touching. I sincerely hope everything works out for you! =]]

  • Hi, I have limbic epilepsy. It's kind of really nice to see someone who understands that limbic seizure stuff from the first person experience. Especially memory issues, and especially how that goes with people. Definitely frustrates me when I can't remember how I go along with my boyfriend, or when I don't know that I have some sort of relationship with people. I think I recognize that headache, but I don't get it past the ear enough to the neck, so... not sure. : /

  • Hey, i just realized that I accidentally deleted half of my message, sorry!

I was talking about Limes disease before, but what I added to that was that I hope your memory improves and that you make a good recovery.. I am glad that you are taking this with good humor and dealing with the memory so well (I would have freaked out)! Also your wife sounds amazing. :)

  • I am sorry you and so many other people have to go through this.

I all of a sudden feel very ignorant. I had no idea what this disease was or the effects of it before I viewed your profile. Thankyou for teaching me, and goodluck.

  • You're doing great dealing with all this. I know you'll come away from this battle victorious!:) Jackie's being such a trooper through all this too!

*Love and hugs to you both*

  • ticks are what carry the lyme bacteria as well as several co-infections. a tick bite is what caused me to become sick with lyme. hope the clarifies, in as simple terms as i can.

  • thanks for posting, makes me feel better to know i'm not just pulling numbers out of my head. it is 30%.

  • first tick bite was in 2000, with a large rash, but no bullseye. second bite was in 2006 when i had a cast on (i think there are videos of this)most people don't remember the tick bite or the rash. only 30%, if i recall correctly. my first rash in 2000 was misdiagnosed, but my grandmother who is a nurse was convinced it was rocky mtn. spotted fever. i had a very high fever with the rash for 2 weeks. hope this helps.
