  • I really hope they dont go touchscreen, in fact I hope nobody every goes touchscreen agai. You just get a bunch of fingerprints, I def dont want that for an ebook. Also, I just think its a lot easier to type with buttons.

  • Touchscreen would just lower the quality of the text. Like, the Sony PRS-700 the screen has a haze to it, and it glares in sunlight, because of the touchscreen. Sure better navigation would be nice, but no touchscreen.

  • I am torn between the Kindle or Kobo reader. I like the Kindle more but I am a little turned off by the propriatary nature of the device but the Kobo feels a little to generic...

  • You impressed a Canadian, congratulations :)

  • ipad is better

  • i need help with mine. i bought one of those, but havent used it in 6 months. when i turn it on it says battery is empty and when i charge it, nothing happens. it still says my battery is empty. think you can help???????

  • can I put my own books in pdf format in to that device? or I can only download from internet? I mean can I use a USB to put my veterinary books in it?

  • @Kindletv1 the nooks update made the touch no more sluggish. It is perfectly fine now.

  • look at the Nook. the touch screen is the thing that maqkes it go so sluggish!

  • Very comprehensive and clear. Good Review!

  • Very good point on the price of ebooks. However, in reality the magazines and newspapers are not much cheaper at all and sometimes lack the full content of the print versions. This is very upsetting, especially when you can just go to the web site of the respective paper/mag and subscribe for even less than the ebook price AND get more content. Publishers are just raping the ebook crowd now...
