When did recovery become so much work? Im smack dab in the middle of month one and two with the fitness program called Insanity. Its called recovery week and it is still a lot of work. Sure, the cardio intensity may be turned down, but it is still INTENSE!

  • Well, it actually is doing well. I bet cuz no weights are used. YEah, there were some intense jumps from time to time, so I just back off and land lightly... or at least try to as my body hits the floor hard LOL!

    I can't assess or recommend how it will impact others though. It is a very good, but very hard workout.

    See what your MRI tells you and PT or doctor recommends before diving in.

    How is your back holding up during INSANITY? I was just wondering because as I have mentioned before, I have low back issues and am considering INSANITY, but I don't want to overdo it. I may have an easier time making a decision tomrrow since I am having an MRI on the low back. Do you have disc issues?

  • Glad you are liking recovery week my friend! Just wait for MAX. Pure brutality! I am on my 3rd day of max and more sore than I was on the first week lol. Keep it up!
