the muppets don't have puppeteers they just have a really close relationship with their butt waxers

Older fans have to remember that the people who preform the Muppets can't live or work forever...but the characters can, have and will!

you guys if u didnt know obviously almost all the main cast got new performers
kermit: steve whitmire Fozzie and miss piggy and animal: eric jacobson Bill baretta: rowlf swedish chef dr teeth pepe bobo beaker David rudman: scooter janice Matt vogel: uncle deadly robin floyd peper sweetums the only characters that didnt get replaced were gonzo dr bunsen honeydew and zoot
And their new preformers do an amazing job with the characters and you usually cant tell the difference

If Kermit replaced Piggy with Jim in that line, that would sound incredibly fitting if he were to describe the impact of his creator's death
