First had one of these at a Mellow Mushroom restaurant in Raleigh NC. I tend to do it a little different. I pour the stout first (Guinness obviously) and then poor the magic hat. Stout is less dense than the Magic Hat #9, and the stout will work it's way to the top. After about 3 minutes it is ready to drink, stout on top, with a little bit of it still infused with the Magic Hat. Its quite good. The Sweetness of the Magic Hat compliments the Bitterness of the Guinness.
