you know, before Stan died he said is next album after "From Fresh Water" would likely be about Quebec. You almost have to wonder if Nathan channeled his father's spirit in writing this song. I can almost hear Stan's voice interlaced with Nathan's whenever I hear him play this song

I think "The Jewel of Paris" and "Land of the Living Skies" are two of my all time favorite songs by ANY artist...Nathan is insanely awesome. I had the pleasure of seeing him in Nova Scotia, Canada a few months ago and I was mesmerized the entire concert...he has the ability to captivate an entire audience. Sláinte Nathan, you freakin rock man! Can't wait until you come back to the East Coast for Stanfest!
