@Ghillie334 I know, It's @WoWrEcKeD that was asking the question of how to get a ride.. I'm in the Army, so getting rides on Apaches and Blackhawks is good enough for me! ;)

@6YJI9 Option A. Get to be THE president, know the president or better yet be the commander of the United states Navy.... but in my case call up my uncle and just ask for a ride (to bad he ritired :*( ) guess it sucks to be me. They tried to get me in for a ride but You know the military........

better question: how do you get a ride in a Blue Angles F/A-18 Hornet? :)

I believe the Soviets used this aircraft as a FIGHTER jet TRAINER. But I could be wrong.

Flaps @ 8 percent...then @ 500 feet the flaps go to zero.

wow the two most things im scared of flying and speed but it loook sooooooo fun
To the people that are wondering if you'll ever get to fly/own a jet like this I'm pretty sure due to FAA regulations you must have 3000 hours as pilot in command to fly this type of aircraft. At least I'm pretty sure that's what I heard regarding the L-39, and I imagine it would be the same with the 29. Which is a bummer since most casual recreational pilots will take forever to attain that many hours. It would be nice to hear from a Delphin pilot or owner to confirm this...

The actual nuber of hours is 500 hr for the L-29/L-39. For jets like a MIG-17 is 1000 hrs. This is to be able to start training, it does not mean a person is ready or qualified. Most of us have numerous hours of aerobatic, high performance, aircraft time.
