We all know we HATE plateaus right? Here are some tips that might help you to fall out of it!

  • 1st) DONT eat 5 freaken meals a day!!

    2nd) DONT eat as much as you want!!!!!! i honestly dont know if she was kidding but theres a reason why all americans are fat and thats cause we freaken OVER eat!! More food means more calories/fat calories/ transfats. Snacking is the number 1 reason why soo many of us are fat!

    3) Snacking is what kills every one!! trust me iv been here and once cutting out all those high calorie snacks out ull loose weight. try fruit for a snack but thats all for a snck

  • I feel I'm on a plateau right now. Thx for the tips. However I heard of another tip. That's its better to do cardio first thing in the morning or when you wake up because if you eat before it will burn off what you ate. Whereas on an empty stomach it will burn stored fat?  However if you are doing a workout with weights then you should eat something before a workout. So you don't tear muscle tissue, etc.

  • Cheat days help you break out of a plateau.

    Don't worry when you hit a plateau.

    When you lose a lot of weight your body needs periods where it need time to adjust to the new conditions it has to deal with. You are lighter and your body can move faster, it doesn't need so much food anymore, you can get up out of a seat faster, etc, etc, etc. A plateau is a time when your body adjusts to all those changes. Wen your body is finished adjusting it will again be happy to lose more pounds.

  • it's hard to tell heavy people (i'm 260 and should be about 210 - i.e. 205) to eat several meals a day, spread it out, because you almost always go to the analogy graze like a cow...

    anyway, i wish someone really obese would do one of these, even if they got down to a lower weight, so long as they then showed some befores to motivate other really obese people. I know a few that I really wish could have some motivation the way you are giving motivation to so many. Keep up the good work.
