Quick trial of plasma cutting a knife blade using a cardboard template for a mate to see the result. Material is 8mm mild steel. the knife shape is not meant to be pretty, just an example of what a plasma cutter can do.
@comorechingan Thanks for the feedback. I did the quick trial for a mate who also make blades. Had the steel been smooth with no rust the result would have been much better as the plasma tip would have been able to glide over the surface much better giving a cleaner cut. But, the cardboard didn't burn so could be used amny time over.
I just really like to thank you for this great idea. I was thinking on very expensive steel or even aluminum cnc laser templates, but this is more cost effective,
