    I really liked that light painting part you had! But please tell me, what kind of shutter delay did you have on these? I tried a sunset a few weeks ago, but I don't think I had it fast enough (I put it on... 30 sec I think), so to make it smooth, it would only be about 30 sec of footage. Also, how long did you have this going for most of the times?

    I used :30 exposures for most of the night sequences and let the camera run for a few hours if possible

    Beautiful. For someone interested in getting started in time lapse photography as a hobby, what cameras would you recommend? And what type of software do you use to string it all together? Just your typical video-editing software?
