Just me playing Eyes On Me from the video game Final Fantasy VIII. This is the Piano Collections arrangement. This is currently the most difficult thing I have *ever* played and it took me a long time and a lot of practice to be able to play it somewhat smoothly. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for watching. Please rate and comment. =)

  • It's very hard to find samples like this on pianos I'm looking for where people on YouTube don't actually suck horribly. Fortunately, not only do you play beautifully... you have officially inspired me to buy this piano. I haven't had a piano, nor have I been able to play because of this, for several years. Thanks for the inspiration. You play with heart.

Wow, thanks! My only complaint with the P-155 is that it doesn't have many different voices. I wouldn't normally use them for recording anyways (mainly just use it for the piano setting), but more voices would've helped break up the monotony of practicing a piece over and over hehe. The piano tone is also a little harsh/bright sometimes but I think that's just the signature Yamaha sound. Hope you enjoy your new DP. =)

  • Wow. Wow. Wow! The improvement here is amazing. In less than a year you seem to have mastered this piece! Have you been taking professional lessons? Because it sure sounds like it. Fluency, tempo, dynamics.. they were all there, and in spades. The articulation was really flawless.. I really *felt* the piece. I really enjoyed this performance. By the way, I also love the way your piano sounds - I need to get that same reverb.

  • Thanks Vinay! It feels really good to hear this kind of feedback!! Especially from you because I know you're very familiar with this piece and are honest in what you say (I've seen your comments on a lot of videos of Eyes On Me).

No I still haven't had lessons, I can't afford it! I just dusted it off and put a lot of practice into it after the new piano came in before making a recording this time, and listened to the professional Piano Collections recording a bunch to figure out the tempo.

  • So glad you re-did this! Incredible!!

  • Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I have fun playing this one, I just don't like recording lol. I get nervous and frustrated anytime I'm recording, especially when it's something that's difficult for me like this one is. It's all worth it in the end though! =)

  • I want this played at my funeral; and when I get married, and when I have my first child and when I meet my wife and when I have my morning coffee. I want this played when I stub my toe on the coffee table and when I break up with a girlfriend. When I drive to work, when I am out with my mates and in bed with a one night stand.

  • This was well played. Almost sounded exactly like the version on my iPod with regards to dynamics and even sound quality. I'm impressed.

  • Very nicely played! I'm learning this piece now, just finished the first page & it was a breeze, the rest I will have to practice alot! By the way, I think your sound and video is just a tad out of sync, but good job dude :)

  • One of my favorite music in all Final Fantasy!! Congrats!

  • Hi, I read your comments at costco web about the suzuki DP, I am interested to buy the suzuki DP-77 by internet but I have never play it, Could you please let me know if your digital piano is suzuki or yamaha? and what model, what is your opinion? thanks

  • This is an arrangement of Uematsu's work, so its partially not his work.

  • yup ^^ Please DO NOT ever take my CON oppinion Too strongly! Heck, I don't even think I can play as good as him! ^^ It's amazing work that he do. But if he is seeking for improvements, I can't just say, You can't play better than this. :-D

9.2 consider MASTER! 10 = NO ONE CAN BEAT! (Nobuo Uematsu performance perhaps! :p) P.S: I wonder if Master Uematsu play his own composition...?
