  • Oops- re: my previous comment- MAUREEN Stapleton was the winner of the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role of Emma Goldman in 1981's "Reds", and was also in "Johnny Dangerously" as well as both "Cocoon" movies... I was thinking of Jean Stapleton (and wondering why her voice was so different. Heh. My bad. Still an awesome short.

  • Not only a Hubley short featuring Dizzy Gillespie, but Maureen Stapleton (better known to most as Edith Bunker) as the voice of Mother Earth?

A new level of awesome has been discovered.

In case these associations might seem unusual, don't forget Rick James and Neil Young were bandmates at one time..

  • I think I heard Mr Gillespie as one of the voices..

  • This is great!!!
