Majority of the earlier episodes of YTT no longer exist as Network Ten had wiped them because they had an official policy to reuse tapes.

@PirateSkip4 LOL yes of course because if someone sexually assaults you, its up to them to go to the courts and up to you to write a boo about it - its not like you have to go to the police and lodge a complaint and the the polie investigate and charge the person, that would just be silly... o_0
Seriously you're a moron
-
@PirateSkip4 ..who said anything about sexual assault ? all i said was this dude rides on other peoples back , i never said anything about sexual assault, he didn't do that , he just was a prick to work with, moron.

@tryandlisten well if you seen the clip an ACA when she faced John Young about the book , she said then take me to court and prove me wrong, he never did , the next night Trevor Hindmarsh said it was true , that he was a prick to them off camera and not what everyone thought he was , so? are all the YTT kids liars ? why don't you just try and listen to what Deb Byrne say's .....wingnut.

They seemed to play this clip every second week on YTT. It's great! they really knew how to do an intro back then!
-
I find it funny that I listen to Johnny Young's Big Breakfast on the radio, but I've never seen YTT, ever. Heck, it went off air about a year before I was born.

What ever happened to Vicki Broughton?
Fantastic ! So many fans would really love to see an updated return of this iconic TV phenomenon with Jamie, Deb, Tina, Dannii and the others mentoring the kids of today. How great would that be ? and a real gauranteed ratings winner !

Classic !!
Remember watching this on Channel 0 in Brisbane one Saturday night in 1971. I was 8 years old.
The show had had plenty of pre promotion and we went to a Neighbours house who had a bigger B&W TV to watch it.
I have never forgotten that night and the "Up Up and Away" was etched into our Brains and rekindled thanks to the TAA commercials at the time.
GOLD !!!
