I mailed ESP's Tech-support the same day as I posted the video, and their awnser was:

"No production records available for older ESP's.
I am not able to trace ESP's sold outside of the U.S. & Canadian markets.
This could be a 90's Vintage Plus. It looks like it was customized.
Not sure it this was factory or after-market. Very nice guitar."

  • I KNOW WHAT IT IS.....

    FAKE..... SORTIF

It isn't an ESP custom orproduction. Before ESP sold guitars they sold parts. Someones got a neck and body fitted electronics and seemingly made their own machine heads. If you payed over £400 you've been ripped off

  • @tascouts120 I don't think so, because I'ts the best fucking guitar I've ever played. AND, read the description.

  • type "esp vintage plus" into google search, you will find alot of reviews and photos, also the esp website has all the specs on this guitar, I have the 2010 model in candy apple red.

  • @stymye

  • Most ESP Vintage Plus S models had the Floyd Rose syle bridge with the whammy bar. Although some did have that version. Just depends... I believe in the late 90's or 2000's they started stamping the back of the headstock. The originals didn't have the stamp. The originals also didn't have the mahogany wood strip in the neck, that is something ESP did later. Not a bad thing... but not the original Vintage Plus's...

  • It's a ESP Vintage Plus S model. The Vintage Plus S models had the full size Seymour Duncan Humbucker in the bridge position, instead of the "Hot Rails" Given the stamp on the back of the headstock, it's one of the reproduction models. The originals from the 90's didn't have the stamp on the back of the headstock. The tuners were something someone added on, because ESP only used Spirzel tuners, or the ESP brand cheaper tuners.

  • honestly it just looks like a 90s vintage plus. you could order them with all kinds of options and they all said ESP custom guitars, so does mine but I have sperzel locking tuners which is what most had. I assume the original owner liked whatever grovers those are and ordered it with them, very nice guitar I love my ESPs

  • it's a vingage + made in the 90's for sure, they didn't distress guitars at those times, great guitars! if you wanna sell it let me know

  • Maybe its a Vintage Plus modified by an old owner, or a Custom Shop.
